Rather than drive straight from Pocatello to Yellowstone through the west entrance, Lisa suggested that we go via Jackson Hole and the Tetons. I'm not sure how much time it added to the journey, but it was well worth it to see the spectacular scenery.
After a nice lunch at the park in Jackson, we drove to Jenny Lake, is a beautiful blue mountain lake set in the heart of Grand Teton National Park.
