I'm always a little nervous crossing the light rail tracks in front of my office. There's no gates or barriers -- and everyone assumes that people are paying attention to oncoming trains when they are walking or driving across the tracks. But not always.  Fortunately, I'm told, the driver of this car survived with only moderate injuries. Still, I'm gonna check twice before crossing from now on.
