Say what you will about the DMV, but they were awesome today. A burned-out taillight on the minivan nearly kept Lisa from taking her behind-the-wheel driving test. But the instructor said if we could get it fixed within the next hour, he would still let her take the test. We headed for the nearest repair shop and hit pay dirt. They replaced the bulb in just a few minutes and we were able to get back to the DMV in plenty of time. Lisa took the test, and passed with flying colors.
