I can't recall how the idea came about. Maybe it's because one of the guys in our work group is a former newspaper reporter and we wanted to hear his take on the movie's authenticity. Or maybe we were all caught up in the pre-Oscar award season and wanting to see one of the likely nominees for best picture. Or maybe we all just needed a break from spending the evening in downtown LA after the monthly board meeting. But whatever the genesis or purpose, it was lots of fun as we made our way out to Hollywood tonight to see Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in "The Post."
