Grandma Margie, Joe's maternal grandmother, had a grueling and painful last few months battling lung cancer. For weeks, she was in bed, barely conscious and heavily medicated to stay comfortable. We were sad, of course, but also relieved when she finally passed away. Today, some of her children and grandchildren gathered at their home to say good-bye.
