It's a silly name - GEELA - but it stands for something quite impressive: The Governor's Environmental and Economic Leadership Award. Tonight, our education team walked away with top honors. The evening was extra special for me because I was able to introduce my new co-workers to some of my former co-workers and show off the beautiful CalEPA building where I worked 10 years ago.
