Katie's school has a vegetable garden and the students are responsible for planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting. But twice a year, there's a family work party to help with the big projects on the playground and in the yard. Today, Katie and I had garden duty, and helped cleanup rebuild the compost unit in the garden.
