On my morning walk, I noticed that two homes on our street had Old Glory flying proudly. These neighbors don't typically put the flag out except on major American holidays. So what's up today?

Well, it's the anniversary of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. It's National Pecan Day. On this day, 96 years ago, Titanic hit an iceberg. And in India, it is a national holiday celebrating the birth of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkaran, a jurist, scholar, political leader and a Buddhist revivalist, who is the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

I could ask, but it's more fun to wonder...
