Lisa had a big surprise today when the principal walked into her 6th period class with the local Elks Club representatives to announce that Lisa had been named the school's Student of the Month. In addition to the award, she received Sammy, the school's mascot. She'll also be featured in an article in the neighborhood newspaper.
