Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand

November 29, 2008

We travelled up to Sri Nakharin, one of Thailand's largest earthen dams. It is built across a craggy narrow gorge and is quite impressive.

From there, we spent the rest of the afternoon in one of the seven pools that make up the Erawan waterfalls.

Lisa, Katie, Judi and I stopped at the third pool, while Danny and the Sims' climbed a bit further to the fourth pool, which had rock slides. Our pool was a bit more tame, but we had lots of fun dodging the fish who nipped at our feet, and climbing into the caves behind the falls.

And no, the monkeys didn't steal any of our belongings.
