A recap of this afternoon's trip to the Chili Cook-Off should probably include a description of the great chili we tasted, or the live band, or the beautiful fall weather. But all of that went by the wayside to something far more concerning to me. I suppose it was bound to happen. But I was still taken aback when one of the vendors asked if an item I was purchasing for Katie was for my granddaughter.  My GRANDDAUGHTER????  Yikes.  Perhaps it's time for the Botox.
