As we were in line for the Calico Mine Train at Knotts Berry Farm, Dave told us this ride was his earliest life memory. After traveling into the caves in an ore car, my dad jokingly held toddler Dave off the side of the cart where he hovered above a colorful bubbling steam geyser.

Today's ride was (fortunately) a lot less traumatizing.
