She lives in a new Rieber Hall dorm, adjacent to the old one (pictured) where I lived for my sophomore year. We had lunch in the cafeteria, where the food choices are much improved from 25 years ago. Then, she showed us the on-campus TV studio where she works as a writer, camera operator, sound tech and editor on shows like "show me your dorm room" and a student soap opera. From there, we wandered down Bruin Walk to the student store and then climbed the steep hill back to the dorms -- that's something I don't miss doing each day.
