Australian artist Konstantin Dimopoulos
painted 20 sycamore trees in downtown Sacramento bright blue to
"make a bold urban design statement while drawing attention to
global deforestation issues."
We were invited to the opening night
reception on a chilly evening. The turnout was quite light but
we got to try an interesting blue cocktail and see a few old
friends.
