We missed out on attending Steve's Bar Mitzvah in 1999 because I was pregnant with Katie. And when September 11th happened earlier this fall, we briefly considered skipping the trip back East to attend Bec's Bat Mitzvah. But I'm glad we didn't because it was great to celebrate with her today.
