Home base for our adventure was Atlanta, where Jerry and Alex have a great apartment in an historic neighborhood. On our first full day, they took us on a walking tour through downtown Atlanta, including the recently restored state capitol building, lunch at the CNN center, and playing in the water fountains at Centennial Park.
