We hadn't been to any campaign events this fall, so when friends who were working on the Meg Whitman 2010 team asked us to come to her final Sacramento rally, Katie and I were glad to participate. We didn't know then that the gubernatorial election would be such a blow-out (Brown 53% Whitman 41%), but there was definitely a feeling that things wouldn't end well. Still, it was fun to see many people I've worked with in the past.
