Washington DC

October 14, 2016

We flew to Baltimore (because it's the only Southwest nonstop to the DC area), and then navigated our way on bus, rail and foot to meet up with Lisa in Columbia Heights. There, we dropped our stuff at the airbnb and started walking.

First through Meridian Park and its beautiful waterfall fountain, then to the OEOB where I worked as an intern in the first year of the Reagan Administration, next door to the White House and Treasury building, and from there over to Georgetown. All the while, Lisa shared some of the great things she's done while living here for the past two months.

Instead of dinner, we chose to splurge at Georgetown Cupcakes.
