We rented the main house at Clairbourn School where mom teaches, lined up a pianist, had a great caterer and ordered the cake. Joe and the kids and I flew down to LA that day and went straight to the location.
Now we just had to figure out how to get mom and dad there without suspecting anything.
Dave and Jenny were planning to go to dinner with mom and dad. As they were leaving the house, LaDorna (who also taught at Clairbourn) called mom to say that she'd locked her car keys inside one of the classrooms. Could mom come let her in?
Of course, mom and dad said yes. They could swing by on their way to dinner.
When they arrived, they were of course very surprised to see everyone. It was a great evening and these pictures bring back so many happy memories.
