A day after a rare Southern California's blizzard, the lure of the snowcapped mountains were too much to resist. Even though Katie had just finished three consecutive 12+ hour night shifts, she was up for a short road trip to get a closer look. By the time we got to the north end of the 605, low clouds were covering most of the peaks. But we still had fun, tracking down a donut store that had been on my to-do list for a while, and then wandering around Pasadena before calling it a day. And it'll still be an amazing sight later this week.
