I texted her a photo and within a few minutes, she came flying out to meet us. A nice surprise.
It's been a long time - we worked together starting in about 2004 when she was a fellow for a state agency and I was new to water issues. We've taken different career paths, but both stayed in the water industry. It was nice to see her, if only for a few minutes.
