Our realtor had been warning us for weeks about the very low inventory of properties and strong competition from buyers. So our expectations were a little low as Lisa headed to Madison for the weekend.
They toured a few condos downtown, and then went to see a couple more in a newer area a few miles away. There, Lisa found one that she liked on the 8th floor of a very nice building.
We were discussing the day's findings via text mesages when we learned there had been several other showings that day of her favorite - and decided to make our move.
Within a couple of hours, we made a full price offer with attractive terms and, first thing Monday morning, got word the sellers accepted and we were in escrow.
