Everytime we cruise through the canals and the Bay, we get another glimpse into Dad's childhood. He's amazed at all the large houses, considering most lots had one story beach cottages when he grew up here. He points out where owner of the Lincoln Mercury dealer lived and the homes of other family friends. And how Grandma and Grandpa often used the company's Yacht Club membership, since no one else at the mortuary seemed to care - until they took the new owner there for dinner one evening. The next day, a secretary walked into Grandpa's office and asked for the membership card for the boss - and it was never seen again.
