Once the party ended, Danny and I took at extra couple of hours to goof around. We drove up and down Coombs Street, looking for the Tannery Bend brewery. No luck.
We went up to the family cemetary and met a woman near the Goodman building whose brother was buried nearby. She knew about the mystery bench that I'd noticed on my last visit. And then surprised us by telling us that she had seen a spirit - an albino-ish man sitting on a tomb who quickly disappeared as she walked toward him.
Time to redouble our efforts to find the brewery.
We eventually found the warehouse and met Damien, one of the employees. He told us the new brewery isn't open yet. But then was intrigued when he found out of our family connection to the original tannery. He sold us a t-shirt and some of the IPA, and we promised to be back soon.
