Just when I thought I'd walked up and down every street in our neighborhood on my daily walks, I came across this today.

It’s an elaborate solar-paneled tree house that rises three stories tall in a Tipuana tipu tree that’s been growing for 67 years – longer than the neighborhood has existed.

In 2015, the county officials told the owners that with no permits, there would be no tree house. But the community rallied, local officials got involved, and they obviously succeeded because it's still there.
