Lisa made what turned out to be a completely unnecessary trip to New York after her school once again changed its position on in-class instruction. After spending two days in Albany, she flew back to spend the next few weeks in California and finish the year online. I was nervous, and decided to quarantine at the Portofino for 14 days, just in case she had caught the virus on any of the four planes or in the four airports she traveled through. If you're going to spend two weeks alone, let's face it - this isn't a bad place to be.
