California Coast
June 12-13, 2020
Our trips between northern and southern California are almost always done with a straight shot up or down I-5, but this time we took the
longer route. It started with a quick drive through western Sonoma County and the artwork on Florence Street in Sebastopol, followed by exploring some new places in San Francisco. We grabbed a lunch of dim sum from a strip mall restaurant in South San Francisco, and then fresh fruit paletas from Pacheco Water Company in the little farming town of Gonzales. We could have pushed through to get home that night, but I'm glad we stayed in Paso Robles. The farm-style motel was just a few blocks from downtown and featured a beautiful garden and sun terrace just outside our room. |
