There was no doubt where we wanted to spend the second half of our vacation week, especially with our flight back from Hawaii returning to Oakland. So we drove north for a couple of days of R&R at the cabin. Mom and Dad joined us for one of the days. (I continue to be amazed at their willingness and skill to cross the path. We should all be so lucky.)

The rest of the time was spent canoeing, sunning, reading, playing games and s'mores.
