After grabbing a breakfast bagel at Esso's and walking around the neighborhood for a bit, Lisa boarded her train home. I decided to take the subway to the southern tip  Manhattan island and ride the ferry to Staten Island, the only borough I've never visited.

I had no idea what a treat I've been missing by not taking this ride before. It's not only the best bargain in town (free), but offered incredible views of the New York skylines and the Statue of Liberty.
