We weren't there for the days when the flooding was its worst, but could watch it on social media. Luckily, mom and dad got out safely, were able to stay in Santa Rosa for a couple of days, and then returned to find evidence of the flood waters in their yard - but no serious damage. The first photo at Pee Wee was taken in August 2014. The second one was what it looked like this week.  My co-worker Tom has a place in nearby Cazadero and stopped by to check on mom and dad a day after the flood waters receded.
