Quebec City, Canada
August 31, 2019
No one warned us that parking on the streets in Old Quebec can be a bit
of a nightmare, so that was a bit of a jolt when we arrived at our
place. Luckily the time limits are mostly on weekdays so it was just a
matter of driving in circles (and occasionally backwards down a one way
street) to find a spot. After getting settled in our apartment for the night, we drove out of the city to a park where we took a short hike along the river and had a chance to regroup. Then we made our way back to the Old City for dinner up on Saint Jeans Street. Cousin Alix had instructed us to find sugar pie during our trip, so later that evening, Lisa and I made a long trek to a place whose pie had great Yelp reviews. And it didn't disappoint. |
