Ann Marie was the director of the infant day care center where Danny went until he was about two years old. Then she left Sacramento to manage the world tour of her brother's band, and then went on to work with several other musicians and later lining up music for Warner Brothers movies and other productions.
Now, she teaches the business side of music at a university in Dublin. She's here for a couple of weeks, teaching a summer program at Mt. St. Mary's College. Alannah, who sings and writes music, will take classes this week.
But today, the day before their program starts, was for catching up and playing. We shopped, boated, dined, did some rapid fire sightseeing, and then drove them up (way up) the hills in Brentwood to get settled for their busy week at Vocalize U.
